Turku, Finland – 6 February 2018 – Teleste will showcase one of its latest innovations, the pre-assembled street cabinets, at FTTH Conference 2018. The cabinets introduce a rethought business model for network operators who wish to find new avenues for OPEX and CAPEX savings.

The idea behind the pre-assembled street cabinets is simple: By letting Teleste pre-assemble the cabinets and their interior at our factory, operators can achieve faster network rollouts with improved quality and less problems compared to field installations.

Predefining street cabinets and pre-assembly in factory environment makes network design, planning and implementation lean, and offers operators added value through:

•    Better quality due to a cleaner assembly environment
