TELESTE RECEIVES VIDEO SURVEILLANCE ORDERS FROM THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
The Texas Department of Transportation, TXDOT, has placed orders for Teleste single and multi-channel MPEG-4 video encoders and decoders and field hardened Ethernet switches.
The orders are valued at approximately EUR one million and the equipment will be deployed by April, 2012 in the Houston and Fort Worth districts as part of ongoing expansion of existing Intelligent Transportation System Networks for use in monitoring and managing traffic flows.
